PRIMARY FUNCTION : Reporting to the AVP of Development, Farber Institute for Neuroscience, the Associate Director will provide day-to-day management for the Farber Institute's development related programs. The Associate Director coordinates fundraising activities, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects. In partnership with the AVP, the Associate Director will lead strategic elements of the campaign for capital projects (current and planned), as well as programmatic initiatives as a part of the Reimagine Campaign, Jefferson's first major comprehensive campaign.
As a key member of the Office of Institutional Advancement and Farber team, the Associate Director will work with the AVP and other major gift officers to develop and implement key fundraising strategies, assist in translating institutional priorities into appropriate major gift fundraising programs, collaborate and work closely with physician, clinical, and research leadership in identifying and responding to gift opportunities, and maintain the flow of information about these priorities throughout the organization. The Associate Director will maintain an active portfolio of key gift prospects and benefactors.
