Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA will cover territories in Montgomery County, Bucks County and Philadelphia.
This position requires reliable transportation to and from client's homes.
Under the direction of the Home Health Aide Manager, the Home Health Aide functions as a member of the health care team and performs selected patient care activities. The Home Health Aide provides care to patient population ranges from infancy through late adulthood.
Education & Training: High school graduate or equivalent required. Nursing Assistant Certification required. HHA must maintain their status by mandatory completion of a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year.
Experience: One year of nursing assistant experience preferred, but not required.
License, Certification & Registration: Valid driver's license .
Other Requirements: Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of home health aide training, competency evaluation and testing program; Ability to read and write. Current auto insurance with proof of coverage required. Must possess a driving record free from major violations within the past five years, and maintain an acceptable driving record with no major violations in accordance with Motor Vehicle Regulations and Abington - Jefferson Health's auto insurance policy. Any and all major violations incurred must be immediately reported to the manager, department head, or Human Resources department.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
